Marketa Smith, PHMNP-BC, AGACNP-BC is originally from Jacksonville, FL and attended the University of North Florida where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2007. Marketa’s vast experience led her to the awareness that patients psychological/emotional needs are rarely addressed in the physical healthcare setting but are a large part of the patients well-being and outcomes. This lead Marketa to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Marketa’s passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy and well. Marketa believes that every patient and their family are unique, with their own distinctive needs and her goal is to design an individualized treatment plan to help every patient exceed even their own preconceived outcomes.
